Maine Coons are the oldest American national recognized breed of cat and the only native American long-haired cat. They developed in the forest of the new England states and were recognized as a breed as early as the late 1800's. The exact heritage of the Maine Coon is uncertain before that time, but there are many myths and legends that surround these majestic Americans.

Here at Tymack Cattery our cats are a part of the Family.

We practice conscientious breeding and have only a few litters each year.

We do this so that we can give each kitten all the love and care they need to be  well socialized and well adjusted cats and kittens.
